Canada Copepods provides sustainably aquacultured zooplankton using only UV-steralized, HUFA-enhanced phytoplankton for feeding. We specialize in the aquaculture of zooplankton for use in the home aquarium, clean and contaminant free.

We use specialized equipment to sieve our cultures, ensuring that there is no cross-contamination between our cultures and our product. This means you are only putting clean water, live zooplankton and some phytoplankton into your tank when you pour our bottles in- no excess nitrates or phosphates. Our cultures are fed with HUFA-enhanced phytoplankton to ensure your reef gets the most nutritious live food, while ensuring our product is as clean as possible.

Our cultures are tuned to maximize zooplankton reproduction, and avoid competition within the culture. Focusing on the smallest of the zooplankton ensures not only their suitability for reef aquarium feeding, but their high reproduction rate when seeding your own aquarium.
